My Inspiration

At the start of the COVID pandemic, I worked as a private care giver. At the time handwashing was a high priority and a key prevention in spreading the virus. Needless to say, I washed and sanitized my hands quite often. So often, that I developed a condition called Dyshidrotic Eczema. My dermatologist told me it was due to the fact that the skin on my hands were severely dry and sensitive. This condition caused my hands to develop fluid filled blisters that would break open and leak puss. The palms of my hands would also crack, bleed, and itch something terrible. They became dark in color, full of scabs and sores. It got to the point where I had to wear plastic gloves to do just about anything, because they were always burning, cracking and bleeding. My hand felt like they were on fire, especially at night. It became unbearable and I fell into a deep depression. I visited a few dermatologists, but it seemed like the only solution they were offering were countless steroid shots, pills and creams that never seemed to work. It even got to the point where they wanted me to start giving myself shots in my abdomen that would potentially harm my liver. Exhausted and depressed, I decided to create my own cream. Within a few months of using my cream, my blisters were gone, so was the severe itching. The color on the palms of my hands returned to normal and my subsided. And now, I want to help others in the same or similar situation.
